Start your exploration of Yorkshire's Living Seas with us! Nestling just five minutes stroll from the beach at South Landing, Flamborough, the Living Seas Centre is a great all-weather location to kick-off your family's wild day out at the seaside.
Pop in for art and craft activities, rockpooling tips, tide times and local wildlife information, regular events and the latest sightings of whales and dolphins in the area. We can also help you get onboard with local wildlife watching boat trips at nearby North Landing.There's refreshments, a small shop and picnic area too.
Run by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, we're open daily from Easter to November, and every Sunday all year round. All ages are welcome with full mobility access to visitor centre, shop and toilets - with great sea views! Access to the seashore appox. 5 mins walk (some mobility access). The centre also has a fully serviced classroom available for school and community groups (please contact us for full learning programmes and availability).
Access to the centre is FREE, however donations are welcome. There is a small charge for parking (council operated) when the free parking area - around 10 cars - is full.
