'Sewerby Squirrels' – held at Sewerby Hall and Gardens for under fives and their families - is held in the Orangery on Mondays from 10am -11.30am, during East Riding term-time.
All the sessions feature activities based on seasonal events, Edwardian life, and exhibits on display at the venue. Each session includes a play area and quiet corner.
The session on 5 March will be garden-themed craft, when the participants will make a handprint flower to take home – a change of clothes would be a good idea.
Monday 12 March will be Beach Explorers. This will be a chance to enjoy sand play and dressing up – again, a change of clothes is advised.
The final session before the Easter holiday break will be on Monday 19 March – Easter Story Time. There will be a chance to hear a story about an Easter animal, sing some songs together, and make a craft to take home.
All participants will need to visit the Welcome Centre to obtain a counter for admission to the session. Annual Pass Holders are admitted for free, as are the under 3s. Entry for children aged 3-4 is £2, with one accompanying adult free.
