Sewerby Squirrels sessions in July
'Sewerby Squirrels' – held at Sewerby Hall and Gardens for under fives and their families - is held in the Orangery on Mondays from 10am -11.30am, during East Riding term-time.
All the sessions feature activities based on seasonal events, Edwardian life, and exhibits which are on display at Sewerby Hall. Each session includes a sensory area and quiet corner.
The session on 2 July will feature an Amy Johnson themed craft – a chance to create a dragonfly to take home.
Monday, 9 July will be Beach Explorers, when the Squirrels will enjoy sand play and dressing up.
The final session before the summer break will be on 16 July, with a Summer Story Time – a chance to hear a story about holidays, sing songs together, and make a holiday suitcase collage to take home.
The sessions are included in normal admission prices for Sewerby Hall and Gardens whilst they apply.
