A unique and free event will take place on Thursday, 14 June from 10am-3pm at Hull City Hall to help people plan for the end of life and stop death being a taboo subject.
The Celebration of Life event will enable people to discover how they can support individuals at the end of life – as well as their families – and ensure they understand the choices available to them.
A selection of activities will be available on the day, such as crafts, creative writing workshops, Celebration of Life Cafe discussions and speed workshops which include information from the bereavement midwives, Hull City Council's
Bereavement Team, the Natural Death Centre, Dementia Care, Macmillan Survivorship Service, ReSPECT Process, the Hull and ERY Chaplaincy Team and setting up your own support group.
There will also be a variety of speakers talking about their life experiences related to death and loss.
