Staff at two tourist information centres in the East Riding are celebrating after being shortlisted for prestigious tourism award.
Bridlington Tourist Information Centre and Humber Bridge Tourist Information Centre in Hessle have both been shortlisted in the visitor information award category in the White Rose Awards.
They will be up against competition from tourist information centres from Bradford, Doncaster, Harrogate and York.
The awards, which are the biggest celebration of tourism in the UK, recognise the very best businesses in Yorkshire.
The 17 categories cover everything from hotels to holiday parks, pubs to producers and arts to attractions.
Councillor Richard Burton, portfolio holder for leisure, tourism and culture at East Riding of Yorkshire Council said: "This is great news for the tourist information centres in Bridlington and at the Humber Bridge."I wish them every success in these prestigious awards."
