Marton Grange is proud to hold a prestigious 5 star rating from the AA. Situated in a quiet location between Bridlington and Flamborough, on the B1255, we are surrounded by lovely countryside with many interesting  historical sites and places of outstanding natural beauty to visit. These include Danes Dyke, Sewerby Park, Burton Agnes Hall, Flamborough Head and Bempton RSPB Reserve. We are also within easy reach of four golf courses: Bridlington Links, Bridlington Belvedere, Flamborough and Filey. 

Marton Grange is an ideal base for touring North and East Yorkshire, North Yorkshire Moor National Park, Whitby, the historic city York and the County Town of Beverley with its wonderful gothic Minster. The Grange is also an ideal location for those wishing to walk or cycle the adjacent Heritage Coastline. We are often used as the final place to stay for cyclists completing the Way of the Roses cycle route since we have ample secure storage.

Marton Grange, once a Georgian farmhouse has been completely restored and improved into as The Guardian said "an oasis in a desert". Great care and attention has been lavished on this comfortable home making it into very special accomodation and destination point for all our guests. Hopefully you will find it a real home from home.

All of our 11 luxurious bedrooms are en-suite with walk in showers and are individually decorated in a traditional, restful style. One ground floor room has grab rails in the en-suite and is suitable for persons of limited mobility. The house has a lift to the first floor,  and level access into the building and all ground floor facilities. Guests have access at all times with own key provided so they can come and go as they please.

We have  two types of bedroom accommodation. Premier rooms are situated in the older part of the Georgian House and offer larger, airy bedrooms with an excellent standard of décor and fittings. There are four king-size bedded rooms, one double and two twin-bedded Premier Rooms. We are able to provide an extra bed to accommodate a child in two of the Premier rooms for an additional charge of £20 per night.

Classic Rooms are in the newer part of the house. These have been decorated in a more contemporary style and offer either double or twin-bedded accommodation.

Marton Grange has two comfortable drawing rooms on the ground floor. These are traditionally furnished and have lovely views over extensive grounds and fishpond. French windows open onto a south-facing garden and terrace to the front. Whilst there is no bar, guests can enjoy drinks in the lounges or conservatory as we are fully licensed for residents and their visitors. A wide selection of drinks are normally available until 10.30 pm.

Guests take breakfast in two spacious, interconnecting dining rooms. The breakfast menu is extensive and offers our guests something special to start the day, including butcher's hand made sausages, top quality dry cure bacon, homemade preserves and our own hen's eggs - when they decide to lay! We try to use local produce whenever possible.

There is private parking, including a disabled parking space, in the grounds at the side and rear of the house. 

Pets are welcome in the two downstairs Classic Rooms only by prior arrangement for a small nightly fee of £5.00.
