Bridlington Leisure World is one of the East Riding's premier leisure attractions boasting 3 pools, including a Fun Pool with waves, slides, rain storm effect and water features, a 25m Training Pool and a Learner Pool. The complex also includes the 3Bs Theatre with Bar and Catering facilities, a Multi Purpose Hall for indoor bowling winter and family activities in the summer. There is a Fitness Studio currently under tender process for new equipment and a Caribbean Club Health Suite.
The Pools
A balance between the fun programme aimed at day-trippers and tourists and the more serious swimmer is available. The waves and slides and extensive water features in the fun pool undoubtedly cater for the great demand in school holidays and at weekends, but the needs of the serious swimmer, club, schools, lessons and special groups are also met through the 25m training pool and shallow teaching pool.
The centre boasts an exclusive Caribbean Club and Fitness Suite both of which share magnificent panorama views over Bridlington Bay and newly refurbished changing rooms in 2002.
The 'apres' swim and spectator experience is very much an integral part of the total leisure experience and this is reflected in the East Riding provision of Bar, Catering and viewing facilities.
The 3Bs Theatre, originally the Grand Pavilion, built in the 1930s is available for party nights, family evenings, trade shows, exhibitions, dinner dances, pop concerts, TV shows and discos.
The Multi Purpose Hall has an Indoor Bowling Hall, traditionally hired by Bridlington Indoor Bowls Association from September to March. During April to September family entertainment and exhibitions are scheduled in.
