Getting to Bridlington by Rail
Bridlingtons award winning railway station and how to get there.
Bridlington has its own Railway Station which has won a number of awards in recent years including best station garden in 2006. Thanks to Marion for the photographs of the station flower arrangements.
The station is situated in the centre of the resort making it an ideal way to visit the town, however the organisation of the railways in the UK can be a little confusing to say the least!
The UK has several train operators and on some journeys there will be a choice of operators, however it is always worth shopping around as they do not necessarily have the same prices, offers or journey times.
There is a single enquiry telephone number shown below where you can obtain information on train times, prices, and operators but you cannot buy your tickets from these advisors. Once you have been given the information and stated which train you need, you will be connected to the ticket sales staff for the train operator you need.
