Cycle Routes around Bridlington

Cycling Routes Around BridlingtonCyclists in East Yorkshire can now try out six new leisure cycle routes either starting from the bustling coastal town of Bridlington or the pretty villages of Flamborough, Sewerby and Burton Agnes.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has developed a new free cycle map, including rides suitable for a range of abilities, from novice riders to those looking for a more challenging route.
Most of the rides run along quiet roads, promenades or designated cycle paths and take in some of the picturesque local scenery via local attractions, such as Burton Agnes Hall, Sewerby Hall and Gardens and Flamborough Head.

The routes have been graded by difficulty and the map aims to include rides to cater for all users, from families wanting shorter routes with an interesting destination for the children to enjoy to longer rides for those wanting a more challenging, breath-taking ride.

The Bridlington cycle map is the latest addition to a series of leisure cycle maps developed by the council’s transport policy team and funded from the local transport plan. The map is available to download from each Route Page
