- The Bayle Museum will re-open for the 2010 season
on the 29th May 2010 until 3rd September 2010
- Sergeant David McKirdy Collection on Display from the 5th April 2010
David McKirdy from Bridlington served in the Green Howards during the Second World War and was held captive as a prisoner of war. Sergeant McKirdy was killed in action on the 23rd August 1944 aged 37 years. Medals awarded to him and family papers are on display at the Bayle Museum from 5 April 2010.
- Exhibition 2010 May – September : “The Bombing of Bridlington” where visitors will be able to see photographs and memorabilia from the air raids of the Second World War 1939-1945. Artefacts from the Bayle Museum Collection as well as items generously donated are also on display.
