Residents are being informed that different bus operators will take over the running of some local bus services in Hessle, Bridlington and Driffield from Monday 6 November.
The three services, all contracted on behalf of East Riding of Yorkshire Council, will continue to run as normal, with no changes to routes or timetables.
The only change will be a new bus company providing the service, following a decision by BusKing of Driffield to cease providing these bus services.
The council has found replacement operators for the following bus services:
• Service 183 – Hessle town bus service, this will now be provided by Stagecoach Hull.
• Service 270 - Driffield and Driffield School to Beeford, this will now be provided by East Yorkshire Motor Services.
• Service 502 - Bridlington to Bempton and Buckton evening service, this will now be provided by East Yorkshire Motor Services.
Other local bus services provided by BusKing will continue to operate unchanged.
Councillor John Barrett, portfolio holder for operational services at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, said: "We're pleased the council has been able to find alternative bus companies without any affects to services or passengers in any way."
