If you run a business and whatever it is you do social media is a very useful tool for finding customers and of spreading the word about what you do. But what exactly to post can be difficult? I've put together my ideas for 30 days of Facebook. Adapt as you will!

Day 1: My morning routine
What does an average morning look like in your business? Do you grab a coffee? Hold a meeting with your team?

Day 2: Meet the owner
An image of yourself and tell a little more about you and your business.

Day 3: Fill in the blank
Give your audience a simple idea of what you do day to day. For example: 'My biggest ????? challenge is _______.'

Day 4: Our purpose
What makes your business tick? Whether you run a B & B, a cafe, retail shop or are a consultant. You have an undertaking that's exclusively yours. Let your followers in on it.

Day 5: Around the office
Share an image the space where you spend your time

Day 6: Share
Post about another small business you admire or a client you love to work with then give a couple of sentences about what makes them so great.

Day 7: Our bestseller
Show off your most popular product or services. Why do your clients/customers love it so much?

Day 8: Monday motivation
Share a quote that motivates you

Day 9: Office mascot
Facebook loves animal posts! Does your dog or cat have the office wrapped around his paw? Snap a photo and share their story.

Day 10: Giving back
Do you do something that makes a difference to your community?

Day 11: The past
Reveal a photo from when you first started out? What did your business look like?

Day 12: Positive feedback
Nothing beats a great referral! Share a positive review you recently received.

Day 13: Goals
What are your goals for the next month or next year? Your brand feels human and your audience feels closer to you when you share with them the ambitions you're working toward.

Day 14: Our process
What's your process for a new clients or customers? Explain your "process" and how it sets you apart from your competitors.

Day 15: Team Image
A photo of your team

Day 16: Your hero
Which businessmen and women inspire you locally or nationally? How do they drive you to do better each day.

Day 17: Today I learned...
Share something new you learned today.

Day 18: What we believe in
What do you as a brand hold near and dear? Creativity? Attention to detail? The best ?????

Day 19: Coffee time
Milk or cream? Flavoured or plan?

Day 20: Ask the audience
Invite your followers to answer a customer question or vote for their favourite option.
"When shopping for (your product), would you rather pay more for faster shipping or get free shipping and wait a few more days for delivery?"

Day 21: LOL
Share something that has you laughing, be it a funny article, photo or meme.

Day 22: Lunch break
Where do you go to take a midday break? Is there a great café down the street that could use?

Day 23: Fan photo
Share a photo and short caption about one of your happy customers.

Day 24: How we got started
Take your followers back to where it all began and how and when your business was launched.

Day 25: Insider tip
What knowledge would people be shocked or intrigued to learn about your field?

Day 26: Share a prediction
Tell followers about a trend you've noticed or expect to see.

Day 27: Breaking news
Find a relevant story about your field

Day 28: Freebie giveaway
Pick a lucky winner to receive your product or service for free they only have to share the photo!

Day 29: Behind the scenes
Are you preparing for a conference or setting up for a sale? Show the process.

End on a high note by giving your fans a sneak peek of what's on the happening for the month ahead. Don't forget images and videos get the most views on Facebook
