Mike Wilson

Mike Wilson is 79 years old (and can’t believe it!), grey-haired, pot-bellied, slightly deaf and needs glasses. That’s the downside. What’s positive about him is, well, you be the judge. . . He’s retired after umpteen years as a typesetter for newspapers and magazines, and married with a lovely younger wife called Diane. He has written a lot in the past, and had many articles published in local interest magazines.

He has also won minor prizes for poetry, short stories and articles. Nowadays he’s more into researching and writing books on various matters. He is amazed that he is about to publish books No.15 and No.16, all with a Bridlington interest.

Mike also creates books for others, so that they too can enjoy the thrill of opening a box of new books. He loves Diane, Bridlington, steam locomotives, aircraft, flying, Vancouver, Las Vegas, Lee Child novels, his Canon 500D DSLR and photography, his PC and the internet, and his collection of Bridlington ephemera.

He’s found freedom from religion, cares for humanity and hopes to leave life eventually having contributed some good.
